Jizan is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her belly dance career in California in 1994. After being a member of a tribal style belly dance troupe for two years, in 1996 she became a solo performer and continued her dancing career by performing, teaching, and competing, winning numerous awards for her performances.

She taught belly dance classes and workshops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Buenos Aires. Jizan also performed at many events and restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area and in Los Angeles. She was a member of the Desert Dance Festival committee and served as a judge at numerous competitions in California.

More recently, Jizan moved to Virginia where she offers classes, coaches dancers for competitions, and performs at different events.
